O, what a happy day for Everton Park frequenters! Dessert cafe O Happi Place is now the latest inclusion to the hipster estate. Originally one of the oldest neighbourhoods in Singapore, it is home to many aesthetic cafes, barbershops, and boutiques.

O Happi Place has already started welcoming customers on 24 March 2022. The cafe’s interior serves as a hunting ground for Instagrammers, with plenty of photo-worthy spots. Geometry is the name of the game here, as many of the cafe’s fixtures, tables and counters take on interesting shapes. Besides that, the pastel and white walls allow the cafe to appear extremely relaxing to the eye. Also, many green plants decorate the fixtures and shelves, giving diners a strong sense of serenity.

Moving on to the food: O Happi Place offers a simple, yet interesting menu. Firstly, you have your classic coffee and tea. One cup of Espresso costs you S$3.80 while a cup of White Coffee comes at the price of S$5. You can feel free to customise it with Milk (S$1) or Oat Milk (S$1). Not forgetting their Matcha Latte, which costs S$6.50 with an additional cost of S$1 for its iced version.

Undoubtedly, the main spotlight is on their wide array of gelato flavours. They come at a cost of S$4.50 for a single scoop and S$8.20 for two scoops. Also, you can top up S$1 for any of their premium flavours. All of them are made in-house everyday, ensuring that they are of the finest quality. Unlike your mainstream gelato shops, O Happi Place carries its own exclusive flavours.

Aside from the classic gelato flavours, the cafe also offers unique flavours like Cereal Milk and Yellow Capsicum. Out of them, their Ju Pu flavour (a combination of traditional pu’er and chrysanthemum). This has far been their most popular flavour – even selling out on several occasions.

Furthermore, O Happi Place offers plenty of options to complement your gelato. If you’re bored of having your gelato in a Cone (S$1), you can always go for the nostalgic Rainbow Bread (S$1) option. Not only that, Freshly Baked Waffles (S$9.90 with one scoop) are also available.
