Muslim-owned Alto Cafe has an existing outlet at Bayshore Park Condominium. We have been there, and thoroughly enjoyed their croissantwich and divine milkshakes! On 24 May 2022, their second outlet officially opened its doors to the residents of Sims Urban Oasis Condominium and the public.

A friend of mine had rented a unit in this condominium a couple of years back. I had the luxury of swimming in one of their two olympic-sized swimming pools. With the recent addition of Alto Cafe, I think that other condominiums would have a hard time competing against them in terms of amenities.

Alto Cafe has massive floor-to-ceiling windows which allow plenty of natural light to seep through the space. With loads of greenery everywhere, the cafe instantly transports its patrons to a relaxing and tranquil haven.

Alto Cafe’s ever popular Alto’s Breakfast (S$19) has a hearty spread of scrambled eggs, sourdough toast, chicken bratwurst, turkey ham, roasted cherry tomatoes, roasted mushrooms and a side of salad.

Alto Cafe is also known to have an array of open toasts available that makes them stand out from other establishments. Their Avo Smash On Sourdough (S$15) has various add-on options. They are pomegranate (S$1.90)chicken/mushroom/salmon (S$2.90), poached egg (S$2.30), scrambled egg (S$2.30) and protein & eggs (S$3.90).

Their crowd pleaser— Shakshouka (S$15) is a Mediterranean stew made of tomatoes and capsicum, served with feta cheese, poached egg, zaatar, coriander and sourdough bread. Alto Cafe also serves up a variety of pastas, waffles, smoothie bowls, pastries and has an extensive range of beverages.

For non-residents of Sims Urban Oasis Condominium, just inform the security personnel at the front that you are heading to Alto Cafe. And voila! You get to enjoy their treats too.
