For city folks, sometimes a getaway out of the city is the only way to recharge our batteries. And what better than with glamorous camping or ‘glamping’. But what of those who are unable to take the night off? Introducing the solution— Itchymummum, a newly launched camping-themed cafe located in Penang.

The moment you set foot at Itchymummum, what jumps out at you is a plethora of canvas tents pitched on pebbles for an authentic camping experience. Customers can sit and dine on the cute camping chairs under umbrellas, or opt for the cosy camping tents. Moreover in the evening, the whole space is illuminated by strings of lights. Adorned with camping pits, the place really looks like a campsite!

Itchymummum offers plenty of Korean food options too, if you’re looking for rations for your ‘camp outing’ here such as bibimbap, jajangmyeon, and Korean fried chicken. Their fried chicken is available in three flavours: Soy Garlic, Spicy and Bburinkle.

In addition, their delicious fried chicken is best paired with a cold beer. I mean crispy, juicy, freshly-fried chicken shared under twinkling lights, a swig of cold beer as you lay back in your chair— there truly is nothing better.

With cosy vibes and various yummy Korean dishes, Itchymummum is the perfect spot to unwind with good vibes and relax the day away. In conclusion, it’s time to bring your rumbling tummies and friends here for an unforgettable dining experience under the stars. Do take note that they will be officially opening on 6 July 2022.
