I still remember the first time I got to know about Khairul Aming — it was during the pandemic lockdown. I stumbled upon his cooking videos on Instagram and he has been gaining a significant number of views ever since. Recently, the 32-year-old announced the highly-anticipated launch of a new product.

His first product, Sambal Nyet Berapi (RM13.99), debuted 3 years ago, and has turned him into a successful businessman. According to his Twitter post, the product earned him RM20 million in sales solely in the previous year, indicating a 40% surge compared to 2022. Khairul Aming currently operates 2 factories in Kelantan in response to the high demand.

After the success of his first launch, Khairul Aming returns with his new product, Dendeng Nyet Berapi. Dendeng is a dish made up of thinly sliced dry meat that has been dehydrated through frying and preserved with a mixture of sugar and spices, resembling jerky.

Sames as Sambal Nyet Berapi, the new product is also a ready-to-eat dish. The R&D of the new product took about 1 year, from researching on machine mass production to packaging and storage. It is also due to the longer cooking process compared to Sambal Nyet Berapi. To make it portable, Khairul Aming decided to pack it in a bag — it’s perfect for travelling!

The Dendeng Nyet Berapi is priced at RM14.99 for 800 grams. 80,000 units have begun selling on 2 Feb via Tiktok Live. The product is accessible exclusively on Tiktok shop during its launch; however, other shopping platforms may be explored based on future demand.

Get ready to enjoy the convenience and delectable flavours of the latest Dendeng Nyet Berapi!
