Suppose your chronic condition has been acting up of late and you are thinking of going for a subsidised health screening. In that case, Healthier SG Screening is a national health initiative that encourages Singapore Citizens and Permanent Residents to undergo regular health screenings, particularly for chronic diseases and to follow up with their own doctors.

It builds upon the previous Screen for Life program and strives to improve early detection and management of chronic conditions such as diabetes, hypertension and hyperlipidemia.
Check out these highlights.
Subsidies at Community Health Assistance Scheme (CHAS) General Practitioner (GP) clinics:

Eligible Singapore Citizens who are enrolled under the scheme will enjoy subsidies for Healthier SG Screening (S$5 or less) at a Healthier SG clinic (e.g. CHAS GP or polyclinic).
This includes all eligible tests (i.e. chronic disease screening, cervical and colorectal cancer screening) within the same screening visit and one follow-up consultation (if required).
What screening tests are recommended for me?

Eligibility for subsidised health screening varies by age, sex, pre-existing conditions and your last health screening date. Select your age and sex on the Healthier SG Screening website to get details of the screening tests you are recommended for. The recommended tests are beneficial since early detection of diseases leads to better management of health.
How do I go for health screening?
Book an appointment for the recommended subsidised screening tests that you are due for.

Bring along your NRIC and/or CHAS/MG/PG Card (if applicable) on the day of your health screening to receive the subsidised rate. You are strongly recommended to call ahead of your appointment to check with your preferred CHAS GP clinic for any other instructions.
