With November here, we are officially entering the holiday season of 2025. And that means big sales, events and celebrations kicking off all across Singapore! Here is a list of things we are looking forward to in this new month.
1. The Christmas Atelier 2025

In the blink of an eye, the most wonderful time of the year is upon us again. Returning for its 7th edition, The Christmas Atelier is a holiday market featuring 100 local artisanal brands. Located at The Cube, Asia Square, this Christmas wonderland will be open from 27 Nov to 30 Nov with a ‘Candy Emporium‘ theme.
Beyond just shopping for Christmas goodies that include food & beverage, fashion and home products, visitors can also look forward to aesthetic installations, photo opportunities and live Christmas carols. Entry to this event is ticketed, but grants you access to a 2.5-hour shopping slot, a Yeo’s drink, a S$5 voucher with minimum spending of S$100, and entry to a lucky draw.
A single entry ticket is priced at S$10, but buying bundles of 2, 3 or 4 will reduce the price of each ticket. You might want to get some friends along for this! For ticket pricing and purchase information, refer to this Klook page.

2. Singapore Art Book Fair 2025

The annual Singapore Art Book Fair is back again from 31 Oct to 2 Nov, 12pm – 8pm. This multi-day event is a celebration of modern art books and zines, and is one of the leading art book fairs in Asia.
Over here, you can expect to find booths by exhibitors from Singapore and around the world, including artists, galleries, zinemakers and printmakers. I have personally visited the Singapore Art Book Fair in previous years and loved browsing the unique books, products and art pieces on sale here.
Beyond just the numerous vendors and designers you get to interact with, there are also workshops you can sign up for this year. If you are interested in having hands-on experience with bookmaking, bookbinding or printing, you can register here for a fee.
Entry to the Singapore Book Fair costs S$8 and you can purchase tickets on-site. This gives you all-day access to the fair on the day of purchase.

Japanese steakhouse Fat Cow has recently launched a new 6-course Wagyu Omakase menu. What makes this different from the restaurant’s usual offerings is its focus on premium A5 wagyu with distinct characteristics.

Another highlight of the menu is the Charcoal-grilled Namiki A5 Wagyu Steak, which is a rare thick-cut striploin originating from the Aomori prefecture, served with a special Sri Lankan black pepper sauce.

15. Watch some November movies

Summer blockbuster movie season might have been over for a few months, but fall movie season is here. There are quite a number of highly anticipated movies showing in theatres in November, which might just make me visit the cinema every week.
For example, the remake of the 1987 classic, The Running Man, is dropping on 6 Nov and stars Glen Powell as the main character in this dystopian action thriller. Wicked: For Good is the second part to last year’s ‘Wicked’, and continues the story of the beloved musical on 20 Nov.
The animated Zootopia 2 releases on 27 Nov, which I hope is as good or better than the original. Some other movies I might also check out are Predator: Badlands and Now You See Me: Now You Don’t. If you’re a movie lover like me, it’s time to start planning your movie dates.
16. 11.11 and Black Friday sales

November is arguably the biggest month in the year for shopping sales. With the annual 11.11 (11 Nov) sales, you can expect to find deals on clothes, tech, furniture, accessories and virtually anything you might want to buy.
The same goes for Black Friday, which falls on 28 Nov this year. Black Friday sales usually last the whole weekend and extend into Cyber Monday, so you can expect to shop till you drop until 1 Dec.
Make sure to keep a lookout on your favourite platforms for announcements about these upcoming sales, and prepare your wallets for some damage.
