On 28 Oct 2025, Hawkers’ Street unleashed its latest food court in the West, opening on the 4th storey of Clementi Mall. A few of you — myself included — who are familiar with Hawkers’ Street’s lineup of stalls can probably already picture a couple of the usual suspects being there.

Well, that’s only true to a certain extent, as we spotted a few fresh additions among the 16 new stalls. Psst, don’t worry. There isn’t Tai Wah Pork Noodle (again).

We headed there on the opening day and the place was packed with lots of cute and excited Uncles and Aunties who couldn’t wait to patronise the stalls.

hawker street clementi - neighbourwok

My boss, Seth, will surely be delighted as his favourite The Neighbourwok has opened another outlet here. This Hokkien mee stall at 177 Bukit Batok West is very popular and Seth deems it as one of his favourites in Singapore.

Now, I’m curious if the chefs here are trained to cook just as well as their OG branch. If your appetite is small, you can go for the small Fried Hokkien Prawn Mee (S$6.90). There’s also the Fried Hokkien Big Prawn Mee (S$13.90) for the crustacean lovers.

hawker street clementi - jason penang cuisine

Those who frequent ABC Brickworks Market & Food Centre will definitely be familiar with Jason Penang Cuisine, that’s featured on the Michelin Guide. Feast on Penang Fried Kway Teow (S$6.50/S$8.50) or the aromatic and iconic Penang Assam Laksa (S$6.50/S$8.50).

If you’re not a kway teow fan, not to worry. There’s also Penang Char Bee Tai Bak (S$6.50/S$8.50) and you can get a side of Classic Penang Lor Bak (S$6.50) to pair with your mains (if you’re peckish).

hawker street clementi - scissor cut

Do you swing by Jalan Besar for a certain famous curry peng spot? Now, the Westies can save on some travelling fare as Beach Road Scissor-Cut Curry Rice is located here. Enjoy the Signature Curry Rice (S$8.90) loaded with pork belly, pork chop and cabbage. The menu also features Curry Chicken Wing Curry Rice (S$5.90) and Chicken Chop Curry Rice (S$6.30). You can also add-on extra goodies like Prawn Fritter (S$3 for 2 pieces) and Handmade Prawn Roll (S$3).

hawker street clementi - wok hei hor fun

Redhill Food Centre is currently undergoing renovation works till 31 Dec 2025, and regulars are probably missing the Michelin-recommended Wok Hei Hor Fun there. Well, fret not, for you can satiate your cravings with their other branch at Clementi Mall’s Hawkers’ Street. Order the signature Beef Hor Fun (S$7.90), Sliced Fish Hor Fun (S$7.90) or Assorted Mui Fan (S$6.90).
