It’s the season of giving, and Singapore’s F&B world has just generously gifted us something terrific. A new Kopitiam opened in West Mall on 11 Dec 2025, boasting an impressive 19 food stalls, as well as a curious AI concierge.

Located on Level 4 of the mall, this new Kopitiam’s design is inspired by the rocky landscape of Bukit Batok Park, which was formerly a rock quarry.

Meet Kimberly, your AI concierge! You can speak to her through a touchscreen installed at the front of the food court’s entrance; she’ll even wave and greet you! Have a friendly conversation with Kimberly and she will recommend different stalls in the food court based on your preferences. She’s a polyglot too, speaking all 4 official languages of Singapore, as well as Japanese and Korean.
Kimberly can also display the menus of every stall in the Kopitiam and show a heatmap of its 458 seats to help you locate an empty one.

As soon as I entered the food court, my eyes were immediately drawn to Telur Thai and their wide range of Thai dishes. There are your classics such as Thai Basil Minced Chicken Rice (S$6.90), Thai Green Curry (S$5.90), and Pad Thai with Chicken (S$5.90). If you come with a friend, they also offer a Golden Tom Yum Mama Hotpot (S$16.90), which serves a bounty of seafood drenched in tom yum soup and served with noodles.

If you’re familiar with Tracy’s Sarawak Kitchen, you’ll be ecstatic to hear that they’ve opened an outlet here. Try their famous Kuching QQ Noodles with Char Siew (S$5.90) or 3-in-1 Hakka Braised Pork (S$5.90). You can even indulge in Sarawak’s signature Kolo Mee with their Wanton Kolo Mee (S$5.90) and Crispy Chicken Karaage Kolo Mee (S$6.90).

They also feature Sarawak Laksa (S$6.90). It’s a soupy variant of traditional laksa that swaps coconut milk for aromatics like shallots and galangal to create a distinct, tangy flavour.

There’s even a Yong Tao Foo spot named Ampang Yong Tao Foo, where you can get a 7-Pcs Yong Tao Foo Set at S$7 or a 6-Pcs Yong Tao Foo Set with Rice/Noodles at S$7.10.

Just look at the variety of ingredients available. Regular items on the bottom two shelves are priced at S$1/pc, while premium items on the top two shelves are sold at S$1.20/pc. You can even add some Ramen or Vegetable Noodles for S$1.50/block.

You don’t have to visit Haidilao for your mala hotpot fix when Wu Da Lang Old Hotpot is right here. They open at 12pm, just in time for lunch!

Take a seat at these tables with a stove in the centre for hotpots. They have a wide range of soups, like Mala (S$10.80 for Single Pot, S$5.40 for Double Pot), Tomato Soup (S$10.80 for Single Pot, S$6.40 for Double Pot), and Golden Chicken Collagen Soup (S$10.80 for Single Pot, S$6.40 for Double Pot).
Some of my favourite ingredients you can add are Duck Gizzard (S$5.80), Spanish Iberico Pork Collar (S$8.80), and Golden Enoki Mushroom (S$2.80). If you’re in the area, don’t forget to drop by West Mall Kopitiam!
