Coalfields Retail Park, a new lakeside lifestyle mall in Bandar Seri Coalfields, Sungai Buloh, is slated for soft opening on 20 Aug 2026.

The development spans 21 acres with an estimated gross built-up area of 1 million sq ft, featuring a 2-and-a-half-storey layout that blends indoor and outdoor spaces. It is also directly linked to a 7-acre lake park, reinforcing its positioning as a community-centric retail hub in the North Klang Valley.

Developed by KLK Land Sdn Bhd, the property arm of Kuala Lumpur Kepong Berhad, the project represents the group’s first foray into retail.

The retail mix is anchored by established names such as Village Grocer, Decathlon, Blue Ice Skating Rink and Harvey Norman, alongside a broad range of food and beverage options including McDonald’s, K Fry, The Social, Canton Boy, Hock Kee Kopitiam, Andre by Gula Cakery and Baskin Robbins.

On the retail front, brands like Skechers, KKV, Hooga, Bata, Tomei, The Colorist, and Big Pharmacy contribute to a well-rounded tenant composition spanning daily essentials, lifestyle and specialty categories.

Situated within the growing Bandar Seri Coalfields township, the mall enjoys connectivity via Jalan Kuala Selangor, the Guthrie Corridor Expressway (GCE) and the Kuala Lumpur–Kuala Selangor Expressway (LATAR).
It is projected to cater to a population exceeding 1 million people within a 20-minute drive, including residents from Sungai Buloh, Kuala Selangor, Puncak Alam, Elmina and Rawang.

As part of the wider township, which is approximately 70% completed and currently houses more than 10,000 residents, the development complements ongoing residential projects such as Walden 2 and Quinton.
Backed by KLK Land’s broader landbank of around 5,000 acres in the surrounding corridor, Coalfields Retail Park forms part of a longer-term plan to establish a more integrated and self-sustaining township environment.
