Western food can be found aplenty, but what about halal sloppy burgers? That’s right, Abang Western Power, is the place to head to if you’re craving for a range of sloppy burgers and Western classics. If you’re a fan of heat, you can try a plate of their Meatball Linguini Marinara (S$7.80). Where’s the heat? Well, they make their marinara sauce with chilli padi. I’ll be honest, if you’ve not tried it before, tomato-based sauces with chilli padi marries well together. Imagine the sweetness from the tomato with the spiciness of the chilli; it truly satisfies the taste buds of spicy eaters.
If you’re not a fan of spice but love the tanginess of kimchi, you can try the Oppa Kimchi Burger (S$8.20 for single patty chicken, S$9.20 for double patty beef). Fans of Korea, you know you got to try this at least once in your life. Imagine the burst of sourness paired with the well-marinated juicy patty. Wow, I’m sold!
If you’re not an adventurous eater and like sticking with the classics, fret not. They have two different types of the classic fish & chips; the SG Style Breaded Fish & Chips (S$7.80) and the UK Style Fish & Chips (S$7.80).
If you’re around the area and are looking for affordable Western food, head on over to Abang Western Power for a mouth-watering experience.
