Located between Shell and Avanté Hotel or 1Powerhouse in Bandar Utama, Petaling Jaya is Utama Prawning.
It’s here where you’re able to fish your own tiger prawns before having them served in a delicious steamboat broth. How exciting!
For an affordable price of just RM35 per person, you can catch as many tiger prawns as you can within an hour. If 1 hour is not enough, you can fish for 2 hours at RM65 or even 3 hours for RM95. You can opt to bring your successful catch home or have the helpful staff cook them up in a delicious steamboat broth.
The best part? Crabs and lobsters are also included in the price and are available to catch when they are in stock.
Don’t have a fishing rod? Worry not, for fishing rods are included in the price and worms are provided as bait for RM15. If you have little ones, have them tag along as there’s a kids’ fishing pool on the site where children are welcome to join in the fun and catch as many as they can within the time limit.
