It’s located right next to Havelock MRT Station (nearest to exit 2), and a stone’s throw from Tiong Bahru Market.
Open until 4am, this stall has over 40 different dishes for you to choose from. Diners will be absolutely spoiled for choice – there are different vegetables such as chap chye and sauteed long beans which start from S$1 per portion.
Proteins include the usual meat and fish – meat begins at S$2 per portion and you can find items like pork belly, braised minced meat with black beans and large intestines, which are well-prepared and have no funkiness.
Seafood and fish start at S$3 per portion, but if you want whole fish, it starts from S$15 and includes options like pomfret and red snapper. Seafood lovers can look forward to items like steamed squid and la la clams, and even marinated raw prawns. (Don’t worry, the raw food is separated from the cooked to prevent cross-contamination.)
Recommended dishes include the Steamed Egg with Otah, Fried Ikan Bilis, Abalone with Tofu, Tri-Colour Steamed Egg and Pickled Fresh Cockles.
