It wasn’t long ago when I first discovered Pao Fan (poached rice) and ever since then, this dish has held a special place in my heart for it to become one of my top must-have comfort foods.

While on an overseas business trip, Chef Wai discovered Tagine (a traditional clay pot used in Moroccan cooking). He decided to fuse together the exotic flavours of Southeast Asia with the distinctive cooking techniques of North Africa.

The restaurant put down roots at New Tech Park located near Lorong Chuan. Judging from the establishment’s name, the menu has an exciting selection of noodle dishes.

Choose from their range of specialised dry-style noodles such as Fried Pork Chop Dry Noodles (S$9.90) and Fragrant Spicy Chilli Dumplings Dry Noodles (S$7.90). You’ll also have the flexibility to choose between ramen, rice noodle or thick bee hoon.

Other mouth-watering options include Sauerkraut Short Ribs Poached Noodles (S$11.90), Braised Sliced Beef Noodles (S$10.90), Fragrant Spicy Chillies Dumpling (S$5.50) and Fried Chicken Tenders Strips (S$5.50).

For those who’re wondering if there’s any pao fan available here, the answer is yes! For the ultimate indulgence, settle for the Superior Seafood Union Poached rice (S$11.90) which has prawns, fish, scallops and prawn balls. There’s also Superior Fried Fish Poached Rice (S$8.90) and Springy Prawn Paste Ball Poached Rice (S$9.90).

Head down on the opening week for a chance to play some games and win some prizes. See you there!
