Do you find yourself drooling whenever you watch video reels on TikTok or Instagram, showcasing those irresistible Wagyu beef skewers from Don Don Donki? It’s official! They’ve just announced that their Wagyu Kushi (S$4.90 for 1 and S$8.90 for 2) will be available at their Clarke Quay Central and Jcube outlets, starting 1 July 2022.

Don Don Donki’s Wagyu Kushi are made from 100% Japanese beef— these soft juicy Wagyu skewers are specially brought in from the Kagoshima prefecture in Japan! Kagoshima Wagyu are known for their balanced marbling and tenderness, all thanks to the copious amounts of sun, and natural surroundings that the Kagoshima black cattle are blessed with.

Don Don Donki’s Wagyu Kushi is currently only available at their 100AM outlet in Tanjong Pagar, and they sell out pretty fast— I haven’t had a chance to try them at all! Thankfully, with the availability of those prized Wagyu skewers being extended to two more of their outlets, I’m hoping that the human traffic will also be reduced by one third— wishful thinking on my part perhaps?

Customers can approach their Japan mobile food kiosk to enjoy these melt-in-the-mouth Wagyu Kushi skewers, which are freshly grilled upon order. To avoid disappointment, you are encouraged to come early as only 200 to 400 sticks would be prepared in a day.

Available until sold out daily, their three outlets will be operating from 10.30am to 7.30pm. I’ve heard so many good things about their Wagyu Kushi skewers, I guess I’ll definitely head down to Don Don Donki this weekend and attempt to get my hands on them!

Will I finally get the opportunity to taste them? We’ll see.
