If you’re a fan of handmade crafts and pre-loved items, you’ll be happy to know that there are quite a few makers’ markets and flea markets to visit in October. That’s right, the popular Public Garden might be over, but there are still plenty of places to find your next treasure.
1. Makers’ Market at Pasir Ris Mall (17 – 19 Oct)

The first Makers’ Market on our list is taking place at Pasir Ris Mall. Happening 17 – 19 Oct, 11am – 8pm, you can expect to find cute accessories, keychains, crochets and fashion products, amongst other goods.
If you live in the east of Singapore, definitely check out this Maker’s Market.

If you’ve yet to explore this relatively new corner of the North-East Line, this could be your excuse to do just that. There is also the new Punggol Coast Mall and Punggol Coast Hawker Centre nearby that you can visit after your adventure at the Makers’ Market.
The Punggol Makers’ Market will be open on 2 weekends on 18 & 19 Oct and 25 & 26 Oct, from 12pm to 9pm.

4. Cosford Container Park WKND MRKT (18 & 19 Oct)

Did you know that there is a large outdoor F&B container park next to Changi Airport? I didn’t. But that’s besides the point! On 18 & 19 Oct, from 1pm to 9pm, there will be a WKND MRKT event held at Cosford Container Park.
Other than the usual food offerings at the container park, you can also expect to find vendor pop-ups selling handmade gifts, arts & crafts and other items. This area is also pet-friendly and gives you pretty clear views of planes taking off and landing at the nearby runway.

9. Resurrack Vintage Market

Another popular Vintage Market that you can visit is Resurrack. Tucked in a cool back alley at Bugis Street, Resurrack is a vintage treasure trove that’s open every Sat & Sun from 3pm to 9pm.
Here, young crowds flock in for vintage goods, thrifted fashion, caricature art, accessories and colourful photo spots. I personally chanced upon Resurrack just recently, and was surprised at how much this hidden alleyway had to offer.
Vendors here seem to change from week to week, so stay tuned on their Instagram to see what’s up.

10. Curbside Crafters

Most of the markets in this list take place on the weekends. But if you’re in the mood for some shopping on the weekdays, you can consider Curbside Crafters at 730 North Bridge Road. This store is open from Tue to Sun, 11am to 7.30pm, and features both long-term booths and weekend pop-ups.
What is exciting about this charming shophouse is that there are 2 levels to explore, and beyond just the usual retail booths you would find at crafters’ markets like this, you can also find food and drink. Think tasty tacos, sandwiches and matcha to take away as you browse and shop!
Make sure to check out their Instagram and website for more updates on special themed weekends and exclusive workshops.
