Goth lattes aren’t a new fad; they’ve been around in places including London and Australia, but have finally made their way to our island thanks to the new cafe addition, Bourbon Street Po Boys Tea & Coffee at Club Street.

Goth food items are usually made with either activated charcoal or squid ink, in order to get that deep black colour. Bourbon Street Po Boys Tea & Coffee isn’t divulging what they’re using in their drinks, but in addition to the Goth Latte, there is a Black Lemonade as well for the non-coffee drinkers.

Activated charcoal purportedly has plenty of benefits such as detoxifying and purifying properties, so this Instagrammable drink might be worth a look into!

A love for food and video games, combined with a lack of motivation to exercise, is probably the reason I'm slowly gaining weight.
