Pasta is certainly one of my favourite comfort foods to seek out and we’re blessed to have so many pasta bars and great Italian spots to choose from on this tiny, sunny island. Now, we have one more place to get our carb fix, and that is at newly opened handBELLO at Amoy Street. While we can’t dine out just yet, we can certainly have a taste of their handmade pasta right in the comfort of home with their takeaway and delivery services.

Their pasta dishes range from S$22 to S$28, making it an easy choice when you’re hankering for some Italian nosh. Swirl on some Nuts for Pesto, made with spaghetti, zucchini pesto, zucchini, curly kale, and walnuts. Don’t be put off by this vegetarian recipe; it’s gotten quite a bit of rave already, so it’s certainly something to try at least once.

There’s also a Pink Vodka creation that’s loaded with rigatoni, tomato, vodka, and chilli flakes, for those who like to keep things simple, delicious, and with just a touch of heat. Of course, we can’t leave out the meat-lovers; there’s You Got Beef?, a pappardelle, pulled beef, and balsamic crema to keep your belly happy.

Also, you have to dig into their Classic Tiramisu which’s laden with espresso-soaked lady’s fingers, mascarpone cream, Kahlua, Myers’s rum, and marsala wine. As an avid fan of this timeless Italian dessert, I personally would give handBELLO a shot just for its dessert.

A fixed delivery rate of S$10 applies from Monday to Thursday, and S$13, on Friday and Saturday. There’s also free delivery with orders above S$50. If we’ve got your mouth watering already, be sure to head to their link here to place your order.
