We have been extremely patient and, for the most part, very good citizens with this Phase 2 (Heightened Alert). With the end in sight, I feel like we can carefully start planning our brunch date and starting with Litte Rogue Coffee along Tanjong Katong Road.

Like all the cafes around the area, they have got their aesthetics down pat. Think neon signs, with bursts of green at every corner, then accented with dark wood furniture that all makes for a perfect picture. Oh, lest I forget, they have gorgeous arches everywhere too. Let’s just say it’s a pretty place and one you’ll want to be in on a breezy Saturday afternoon.

As for the menu, the folks at Little Rogue Coffee do take a couple more liberties with the usual cafe fare. These House Marinated Wings (S$12) come with a creamy and funky blue cheese sauce. These wings are the perfect accompaniment to some of Little Rogue Coffee’s mains, such as Miso Roasted Cauliflower Salad (S$18) or their Sour Dough Cheese Toastie (S$16). I mean, bread and cheese is always a winner. However, when the cheese is more than your kraft singles and instead consist of the likes of brie, cheddar, gruyere, and paired with onion cider soup—I’d say, just take my money.

Otherwise, other items from their Lights like the LRC Breakfast “Patas Bravas” (S$14) are just the winning combination of potatoes, chorizo, and eggs. Then, like any brunch fiend, you need to have a copious amount of coffee to sip on as you dig into that brunch grub. Litte Rogue Coffee gets their coffee from Proud Mary by Ballad of Anna May SG, so there is your usual Flat White (S$5.50) and Espresso (S$4.50) to make it an even better brunch.

Plus, Little Rogue Coffee is a bicycle-friendly cafe where you can park your bike right on its premises. It’s on a first-come, first-served basis, so the fastest rider first?
