It’s the season for giving and the famous noodle house Ipoh Tuck Kee has a good giveaway for its diners. Their BK@211 Toa Payoh outlet will be holding a S$3.80 promo for selected dishes starting 23 Dec.

Ipoh Tuck Kee specialises in authentic old-school Ipoh cuisine. They’ve been around since 1963 and aside from the Toa Payoh outlet, can be found at Kelantan Lane and Clementi Avenue. Ipoh Tuck Kee boasts unbeatable wok hei in their dishes and the usual price for their noodles is wallet-friendly.

With this promo, it’s even more so. Ipoh Tuck Kee replied to a commenter that for the time being, the promotion will continue until further notice. Keep your eyes peeled on their Facebook page for updates.

Even with all the choices, it wouldn’t hurt your wallet too badly to go back and try each dish. But if you’re really stumped, the Yu Kong Hor, War Tan Hor and Hokkien Fried Tai Loke Mee are their best sellers.

The Yu Kong Hor is a crowd favourite. Looking through their reviews, most diners have asked for it. The dish is topped with a raw egg that makes it creamier.

If the promotion menu doesn’t have dishes you want to try, the regular-priced dishes all start under S$10, with only the large portion of the Baby Octopus in Soy Sauce (S$10 for Small, S$20 for Large) going above that.
