Calling all my fellow bubble tea enthusiasts! After introducing you to a Muslim-friendly bubble tea alternative—Milk, I’m back with a brand new bubble tea concept that has popped up in our island. Introducing Jinja (Jincha), the latest bubble tea store in town serving unique Korean-inspired cups of our favourite boba delights.

Decked out in a minimalistic black and wooden aesthetic, Jinja (Jincha) can be easily spotted within the premises of Orchard Plaza.

Classic milk teas aside, this is a bubble tea store where you can also find an unusual range of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages curated with the concept of preparing cocktails and mocktails in mind.

While their classic range features bubble tea options such as the Earl Grey Milk Tea (S$3.80) which traditionalists will surely enjoy, true adventurers should opt for their Macchiato series, a range which shines the limelight on bubble teas inspired by popular Korean beverages like Ginseng Red Date and Omija-cha

For those who are seeking to slip in that bit of mid-day booze, their Soju Macchiato (S$10) will not disappoint. Curated to beat the heat, these refreshing alcoholic treats come in different fruity flavoured soju for you to concoct a drink specific to your preference.

To complete the experience, why not add some bobas into your Soju Macchiato? Trust me, these beautiful bubbles will taste as good as they look once they burst in your mouth.

Those who are lactose intolerant will also be glad to hear that Jinja (Jincha) allows for the dairy in their beverages to be switched to either soy or nut milk at an additional cost from S$1 onwards

Now, there is no more reason to be upset about not being able to drink your beloved bubble tea. Just head over to Jinja (Jincha) to get your bubble tea fix whenever you are in town.
