If you are wondering what JOMO stands for, well according to them JOMO is a cousin of YOLO. Instead of only living once, you now have to join or miss out. I think I’m all for the Singlish rendition of ‘”jio or miss out”. It’s simple and to the point.

Well, if you do make your way here to JOMO Bar, treat yourself the likes of JOMO’s Gourmet Hot Dog (S$14), Chicken Salt Fries (S$8) and JOMO Cripsy Pork Belly Bites (S$8). I know, Chicken Salt Fries has got me intrigued as well. According to their menu, you’ll have to ask an Aussie to know exactly what Chicken Salt Fries are. If not, their whole host of comforting bar bites are sure to go well with a pint of ice-cold beer.
Speaking of their beer, JOMO Bar features fresh beers on tap starting from S$6 a pint during Happy Hour (3pm to 6pm) and S$8 per pint otherwise. With prices like these, you can be sure that these are the best beer prices in all of Holland Village.

To add to the fun, JOMO Bar is having their first-ever Family BBQ in collaboration with Sidecar Handcrafted this Sunday 10 Jan 2021. Just think you classic Aussie barbie with a fantastic rollout of everything from sausages, burgers, chicken, steak to ribs. There will be two seatings for this Family BBQ, namely, from 11 am to 2 pm and 3 pm to 6 pm.
The orders will be taken dim sum style and served at tables for sharing. Along with free-flow options Aperol Spritz, all beer on draft & selected wines for a bargain S$42 nett! I don’t know about you but I know where I’ll be Friday night.
