French cuisine is known to be rich in history and culture. Watching films like Ratatouille and The Hundred-Foot Journey remind me of my chef days when I had to master the five mother sauces and prepare traditional French classics such as Bœuf bourguignon and Potatoes au Gratin.
L’Angélus was established in 1998 and is Singapore’s oldest single-location traditional French restaurant. They have recently launched a total of 11 new dishes ranging from delectable Entrées to coveted Poissons Et Crustacés, as well as hearty Plats, Entrecôte and À Partager.
L’Angelus exudes a Parisian charm, and is decorated with various French artefacts and vintage posters from ancient times. The restaurant is cosy and romantic, making it an ideal spot for date night.
