Back in 2018, my friend Gwen and I made a pact that we’d save money by only drinking bubble tea once a month. Needless to say, this pact failed spectacularly. And now, bubble tea addicts who stop by LiHO TEA on the regular have to work even harder to avoid its alluring calls—the familiar red bubble tea stall just launched egglets, and I’m definitely going to give it a shot.
New Egglets
LiHO TEA’s brand new menu addition includes the perennial street snack that’s all too common in Hong Kong—crispy, golden brown egglets. These chewy egg waffles are available in two flavours: Original Egglet (S$2.80), and Egglet with Chicken Floss (S$3.60).
You can look forward to freshly-made egglets to take you back to the bustling streets of Hong Kong with their crispy exterior, and a soft and chewy interior. For those who want something savoury, the Egglet with Chicken Floss contains chicken floss filling that’ll compliment your usual milk tea perfectly.
Unfortunately, LiHO TEA’s egglets are not available islandwide, and will only be making an appearance at these outlets:
- Loyang Point
- Parkway Centre
- Our Tampines Hub
- King Albert Park
- Poiz Centre
- Aljunied MRT
- Sembawang Shopping Centre
A recap on LiHO’s Truffle series
Who says you can’t indulge anyway? LiHO TEA’s Black Truffle Series is a good substitute if you want a break from your usual milk teas.
Take your pick from three equally decadent drinks—the Marble Black Truffle Latte (S$5.5o Medium, S$6.50 Large), which comes with a truffle blend and green tea base, Fudgy Black Truffle Chocolate (S$6.50 Medium, S$7.50 Large) which boasts of an unfailing combination of chocolate and biscoff cookie crumbs on top of aromatic truffle, and the Velvety Black Truffle CheezHO Oolong (S$6.50 Medium, S$7.50 Large), topped with Oreo crumbs and tied together with an oolong tea base.
