I fondly remember my time in Hong Kong when having a cup of yuenyeung daily was customary.
You can imagine my delight when McDonald’s Singapore introduced a Coffee Milk Tea ice cream a while back. But it just isn’t the same in ice cream form, you know?
This time, one of my all-time favourite bubble tea chains, LiHo Singapore, is here with a brand-new drink!
You can get a taste of Hong Kong with their new Yuan Yang Cup 鸳鸯杯 (S$4.30) that’s now available at selected LiHo outlets.
This Hong Kong-inspired drink is unlike any other bubble tea drinks out there. This cup has two separate compartments!
One side of it contains LiHo’s signature Milk Tea.
In the other compartment is actually LiHo’s latest creation, Milk Coffee.
The Milk Coffee had a subtle bitter flavour that complemented the sweetness of the milk well.
LiHo’s tasty bubble tea pearls then complete the Yuan Yang Cup, giving a soft chew in every sip.
With the Yuan Yang Cup, you can now get the best of both (coffee and tea) worlds in one cup. All you coffee lovers can also rejoice, for this drink is part of LiHo’s new Coffee Series.
Let’s hope that they’ll make it available at all of their outlets soon!
