Singapore’s homegrown patisserie, LUNA, will be opening a second outlet at Joo Chiat Road in early Dec 2022. LUNA first opened its doors in March 2019 and brought sophisticated sweets that are tailored to the local palate.

The new LUNA outlet will feature a speciality chocolate-making showroom which will produce handcrafted chocolate bonbons live. They are available in 9 flavours such as Orh Nee, Salted Caramel and Matcha Yuzu.

As an opening promotion, complimentary chocolate bonbons will be given to each customer with every purchase of a sliced cake.

Another spotlight of the new outlet would be the ‘New Frontiers’ menu, which includes exciting ingredients such as buckwheat, rhubarb, cassis and even tofu

The Tofu (S$8.50++) may resemble actual tofu, but it’s a moist vanilla sponge cake with layers of vanilla mousse made of a blend of hazelnut praline and silken tofu. It is then finished in a shell of crunchy toasted buckwheat.

Next, the Cassis Chocolate (S$9++) is a sandwich of cassis cremeux and crispy white chocolate feuilletine in between layers of chocolate Victoria sponge cake. Its top layer is a vanilla-infused mascarpone mousse with sprinkles of edible flowers.

For something more decadent, you can opt for the Caramel Banana Chocolate (S$9++), a tart combining the flavours of 46% milk chocolate cremeux, chopped walnuts and caramelised bananas in a buttery vanilla tart shell.

Strawberry lovers will enjoy the Rhubarb Strawberry (S$9++), which features a delicate strawberry mousse and tangy rhubarb-strawberry compote covered in a glossy pink mirror glaze. Its base is a vanilla tart shell filled with almond frangipane and has a trim of desiccated coconut at its midriff.

Not up for cake? Go with the Strawberry Vanilla Panna Cotta (S$9.50++) that has alternating layers of creamy vanilla panna cotta with sweet strawberry cremeux. It is topped with crunchy granola and sliced strawberries.

LUNA - Sweet Celebrations Christmas Set

Finally, LUNA also has holiday Christmas specials, such as the Triple Chocolate Christmas Tree Cake (S$82++) and Sweet Celebrations Christmas Set (S$39++) which includes Apricot Pear Bauble and Orange Cherry Pistachio

Pre-orders for the Christmas goods are available now for delivery or self-collection at Luna’s Amoy Street outlet from 5 to 31 Dec 2022.
