The spread, fit for a queen, starts you off with a Trio Of Indulgence starter that consists of a grilled Hokkaido scallop with a vibrant fruit salsa, a melt-in-your-mouth pan-seared goose foie gras, and a fried homemade chicken gyoza with luscious mayo.

Feast your eyes as the staff at Lawry’s add a touch of theatre while preparing The Famous Original Spinning Bowl Salad. Then slurp on a bowl of earthy, nutty Velvety Parsnip Veloute dressed with fragrant sage oil and crispy parsnip chips.

An abundance of choices awaits you for your mains — choose from a selection of 4 dishes. But before that, reset your palate with the Zesty Lime Sorbet.

With sweet and succulent flesh, the Duo of Lobster Tails features luxurious broiled lobster tails crowned with drawn butter and capsicum mayonnaise. A garlicky aglio olio pasta is served on the side for the perfect combination.

Enjoy the crowning glory of Lawry’s The Prime Rib — the signature 150g Roasted USDA Prime Rib of Beef accompanied by creamy US Idaho mashed potatoes, Yorkshire pudding, whipped cream horseradish, and a choice of butter peas, creamed spinach, or creamed corn. Alternatively, you can also go for The 400g Prime Striploin accompanied by summer veggies and drizzled with your choice of garlic herbed butter or black pepper sauce.

Have you brought your mum for an omakase experience before? If the answer is no, then maybe it’s time to take her to Ichigo Ichie at 442 Orchard Road. From 5 to 16 May, Chef Akane rekindles fond memories of her mother’s home-cooked dishes in her own kitchen with a heartfelt oyakodon-inspired donabe — ‘Oyako Donabe‘ — created specially for Mother’s Day. She recreates the flavours that are close to her heart with skilled craftsmanship, presenting the classic oyakodon in a Japanese earthenware claypot.

Japanese rice is cooked with spring yellow onions before it gets layered with slow-simmered yellow chicken soboro (seasoned minced meat). Sliced Japanese garlic chives are added to lend a touch of freshness and to balance out the richness, while a luscious scrambled egg yolk sauce elevated with uni and house-made soy sauce adds depth of flavour. The dish is then finished with an exquisite blend of seaweed with extra sea urchin served on the side.

This exclusive dish is available as part of the lunch and dinner menus at Ichigo Ichie. Lunch prices start from S$138++ per guest for the Akebono 曙 while the dinner menus are available from S$350++ per guest for the Kurenai 紅.
