Japan’s Coca-Cola never fails to surprise and impress us with their innovative and new ideas on Coca-Cola flavour combinations. We recently saw Japan’s release of an all-new refreshing flavour—Strawberry Coca-Cola.
Luckily for us, this fruity drink has made its way to Singapore’s 7-Eleven stores!
These limited-edition drinks are currently only sold at S$2.50/bottle at selected 7-Eleven stores. It was quite an ordeal trying to search for them but we finally got our hands on a few!
As much as I wanted to add the phrase “we tried it so you don’t have to” into this article, there was no way I could. The Strawberry Coca-Cola was quite delightful and you’ve definitely got to try it for yourself.
When you first open the bottle, a nice fizz should spurt out from the bottle, giving you a nice potent whiff of fresh strawberries. When you do take the first sip of the drink, it is light and fizzy, just as Coca-Cola usually is.
The strawberry flavour is quite subtle and leaves no aftertaste in your mouth. The aroma of the drink, however, has fairly strong strawberry notes. In fact, the more you drink, the more it might taste slightly similar to the Vanilla Coca-Cola.
I’d say that I really like this drink and would definitely be heading back to grab more bottles. Are you keen on trying out this new fruity concoction? Try it, and let us know if you’re a fan of it!
