This New Year’s Eve, from 6pm to 2am, they will have a spectacular Semi-Buffet Dinner (S$98++ per adult, S$48++ per child) which features a main course (one of two choices)—like the Maine Lobster Pasta—and a complimentary buffet spread of cold seafood, appetisers, salads, and desserts!

A line-up of activities will take place to ensure that parents can take a breather and admire the panoramic views, all while being serenaded by a live musical performance by duo ShiLi & Adi. Meanwhile, the mini playground will keep the lil’ tykes entertained.
There’s no better way for both young and old to come together and usher the new year, than with delectable food and an unparalleled view of the fireworks from Faber Peak!

5. Lawry’s The Prime Rib Singapore
One of Singapore’s most established steakhouses wants you to ring in the new year with their six-course New Year’s Eve Celebration 6-Course Set Menu (S$179++ per adult without alcohol, S$199++ per adult with alcohol), available only on 31 December 2019.
Lawry’s The Prime Rib Singapore has become a household name when it comes to steak dinners, and this year, their divine feast starts appetisers such as the Smoked Duck Breast With Peach, a warm bowl of Corn-fed Hen Consommé With Spinach Stuffed Ravioli And Angel Hair Pasta, and a platter of Foie Gras, Smoked Salmon, And Chicken Gyoza.
The foie gras tasted as enticing as it looked, with its crystal glazed sheen, and plump, soft centre. It melted like butter, and was the best way to begin the meal.
Select your choice of main course—Signature Roasted USDA Prime Rib Of Beef, Bone-in
Iberico Pork With Lobster and Fisherman’s Seafood Platter—with my favourite being the Signature Roasted USDA Prime Rib Of Beef for its tender, pale pink meat, encircled with just the right amount of fat to keep it juicy.
Dessert is a real treat with Red Velvet Chocolate Molten Lava Cake With Häagen-Dazs Strawberry Ice-Cream. I was surprised at how much I loved this, given my initial impression was of a sweet ending that was too saccharine. It had a balanced bittersweetness, and was satisfyingly sticky that I wanted to lick the plate clean!
Double bonus: diners are entitled to a 10% discount off the set menu if they reserve themselves a seat from 5pm – 6pm. They will also receive a complimentary bottle of Casillero del Diablo Devil’s Brut Sparkling Wine (750ml) for takeaway with every three sets ordered!
Lawry’s will surely serve you and your family a hearty meal this New Year’s Eve, so get your eating pants ready, and fill your belly till the clock strikes 12!
