Here are 10 food places to check out in Tampines 1.

1. Hawkers’ Street (#05-05/06/07)

Tampines 1 - Hawkers' Street

Located on the 5th floor of Tampines 1, Hawkers’ Street boasts 12 stalls offering a diverse range of culinary delights. Vendors include Michelin Guide Bib Gourmand awardees such as Tai Wah Pork Noodle and Tiong Bahru Hainanese Boneless Chicken Rice, leaving you spoiled for choice.

Some of my personal favourites from here include the Wholesome Lemak Drumstick Set (S$8.90) from Nikmat Nasi Lemak by Husk, a more affordable subsidiary of HUSK Nasi Lemak. It features a fork-tender drumstick cooked in fragrant lemak atop a bed of fluffy rice, crowned with a sunny-side-up egg.

Another must-try is the flavourful and wok-hei-filled Signature Mee Hoon Kway (S$6.30) from Jiak Song Mee Hoon Kway, run by former MasterChef finalist Aaron Wong. For a healthier option, take advantage of the clean and nourishing Thunder Tea Rice (S$6.80) from Pang’s Hakka Yong Tau Foo.

With such an abundance of options, you’ll find yourself returning time and again to sample everything Hawkers’ Street has to offer.
