The most highly anticipated list of the year has just been revealed! Yes, the Ministry of Manpower (MOM) has just released the official list of 2026 Public Holidays.
While the total number of 2026 public holidays is 11, exactly the same number as this year, there is good news. While just 4 of those public holidays resulted in a long weekend in 2025, 2026 will give us 6 public holiday long weekends.
This is the result of public holidays in 2026 falling on either a Friday or a Sunday. When a public holiday falls on a Sunday, the following Monday will be a public holiday. So, plan your long weekends wisely!
