I grew up with Old Chang Kee. When I was younger, I would often bug my mother to purchase my favourite curry puffs each time we walked past the snack outlet. Even till today, Old Chang Kee continues to impress me with its constant stream of innovative new food products. Once again, the popular snack chain has brought about two limited-time menu items in conjunction with Ramadan.

First up, we have their Chicken Satay in a Cup (S$4). This is part of a special collaboration with heritage brand Jumain Sataysfaction and will feature five satay sticks in a cup. Don’t expect to find any MSG or colouring in their satay sticks, as they are only marinated with authentic herbs and spices. You can also dip the satay sticks into their specially curated peanut sauce. More importantly, the chicken satay is halal-certified.

To elevate your satay experience, make sure to try Old Chang Kee’s Blue Pea Nasi Lemak with Chicken Satay Dipped in Satay Sauce, complete with a Bandung drink (S$11.90). This dish comes with blue coconut rice, fried egg, ikan bilis and their signature sambal.

Of course, the main star of the dish would be their satay sticks. Hence, this serves as the ultimate combination of flavours – one that serves up a feast for your taste buds! However, it is important to note that this meal will only be available at Old Chang Kee’s Coffee House outlets.

This limited-time offer is available at all Old Chang Kee outlets from April 13 to May 15 2022. Also, if you don’t feel like queuing up at their physical outlets, you can always order them from selected delivery platforms. This includes Grabfood, Deliveroo and Foodpanda
