1. Tempura Ensei (#B1-06/07)

The formidable pairing of Executive Chef Naruki Takeshima and Executive Sous Chef Masashi Watanabe channels decades of culinary finesse into the refined creations at Tempura Ensei. The dynamic duo presents an exquisite 13-course Festive Tasting Menu (S$388+) happening from 11 to 31 Dec 2025.
It consists of 2 Appetisers, 1 Dish (Kobako Kani), 8 types of Tempura, a Rice Course, and a Dessert.

This exclusive 3-week Christmas collaboration marries tradition and the spirit of Ensei with the opulence of Kaluga Queen Caviar. The luxurious caviar, prized for its luscious texture and elegant salinity, is meticulously added to each dish to accentuate its richness.

Some highlights include the Kobako Kani (female snow crab) crowned with dashi-vinegar jelly and Kaluga Queen Caviar. With each spoonful, the crab’s delicate, sweet flesh and decadent roe, paired with the bright, nuanced umami of the jelly, and the briny caviar delivers pure culinary euphoria.

One of the tempuras that stood out was the Uni Tempura. It has battered seaweed as its base, buttery sea urchin, Kaluga Queen Caviar, and a dollop of wasabi. It was sheer brilliance to combine these 3 elements to deliver the ultimate oceanic flavour. I’m sold!
2. PS. Cafe (#02-09A)

Homegrown Singapore brand, PS. Cafe is loved by locals for its savoury cafe classics, indulgent desserts, and cosy ambience. The Yuletide season is back, and so are the beloved Chalkboard Specials — available until 31 Jan 2026!

Cheese lovers will enjoy the Baked Brie Parcel (S$18) featuring creamy brie encased in a flaky pastry, complemented with sweet bacon onion jam, marinated figs, candied walnuts, juicy pops of pomegranate, frisee salad, and balsamic glaze.

I rarely go for turkey since it’s often dry, but OMG — have the chefs at PS.Cafe converted me with their Turkey Roulade (S$32). Stuffed with a savoury-sweet pork and apricot stuffing, the tender and juicy meat roll is served with roasted potatoes, brussels sprouts, root vegetables, and a unique Asian cranberry chutney with hints of rojak flower.

Be sure to save room for the perfect sweet finale: the Holiday Pudding (S$16) that checks all my boxes. The slab of chocolate sticky date pudding harmonises flawlessly with the vanilla ice cream, enhanced by the velvety chocolate sauce and candied walnuts.
3. Merci Marcel (#01-03)

Merci Marcel is a sun-kissed French hideaway with Bohemian touches, offering views of a little green oasis and the streets of Orchard Road. Immerse yourself in true artisan culture as you explore their gourmet food, fine beverages, art and lifestyle goods.

With Christmas drawing near, Merci Marcel proudly presents its Merci Marcel Festive Menu (S$112++), available throughout December. This exquisite set is proudly created by Chef Bruno Ménard, a culinary maestro who earned 3 Michelin stars at his Tokyo restaurant, and brings decades of experience and expertise to Singapore.
Bring your closest ones, and feast on lovely starters, scrumptious mains, and indulgent desserts, while you soak in the relaxed and serene atmosphere of Merci Marcel.
Kickstart your meal with a buttery, melt-in-your-mouth Comté Sablé & Cream Cheese served with a welcome glass of Champagne. Next, take your pick from 3 appetiser options.

We took one look and thought, ‘guacamole with croutons’?’ Nope. The Eggplant Caviar with Avocado-Mint proved us completely wrong. It was smooth, tangy, and laced with anise-tinged lovage and bold mint, compelling us to dig in for more.
The Foie Gras & Chicken Liver Mousse comes with spiced tomato jelly, perfect for spreading on the toasted baguette.

Then dig into scrumptious mains like the Beef Tenderloin, Pumpkin Gnocchi & Red Wine Jus or Hokkaido Scallops Vol Au Vent, Beurre Blanc & Tobiko.

The Truffled French Cheese was earthy and indulgent, but the Chestnut & Chocolate Iced Tiramisu stole the show with its citrusy Earl Grey twist.
Make your reservations here and celebrate the holidays in true-blue french style.
4. Siam Smith (#01-01)

Those with a penchant for Thai cuisine should swing by Siam Smith, fusing contemporary comforts with a blend of heritage charm in its relaxed settings. The noodle bar specialises in lip-smacking Sliced Beef . Beef Meatball . Beef Tripe and Beef Tendon Signature Beef Noodle. The succulent beef trio comes with your choice of noodles, served dry or in soup, with the latter bathed in a robust broth that’s crafted from a generational family recipe.
The fiery Seafood Creamy Tom Yum Soup Noodle delights patrons with its lemak spicy soup, served with sea treasures like red prawn, squid and sea bass.

Siam Smith also offers yummy rice dishes like the Thai Holy Basil Chicken Over Rice that uses fluffy rice and served with vibrant homemade Thai pickles. There’s also small bites including the fragrant Thai Basil Chicken Wing, desserts and booze.
5. Mare Hachikyo (#01-07)

Hailing from Hokkaido, the Northernmost part of Japan, Mare Hachikyo opens its very first outpost in Palais Renaissance. This 12-seater Japanese kappo-style omakase spot with private rooms imports 90% of its seasonal ingredients from Hokkaido, offering customers an authentic, fresh seafood experience.
The Lunch Set Menu starts from S$68++ for a 3-course set and goes up to S$108++ for a 5-course meal.

To get into the festive spirit, you can order the special Chirashi (S$32), available for a limited period. This lavish rice bowl is topped with hairy crab, ikura, and gold flakes for a sparkly touch.

A personal favourite, the Asari Clam & Hotate Donabe features dashi-flavoured rice loaded with dashi-marinated scallops and clams.

This signature donabe dish is fun and can be savoured in 3 ways. The first is on its own, but I recommend adding the dried scallop, pickles and wasabi for a delicious combination.
For a touch of extravagance, ikura fans can top-up S$18 for the ‘Tsukko Meshi’ treatment. The atmosphere bursts with energy as everyone cheers “Oisa!” while the chef scoops the salmon roe onto your rice over and over again until it nearly overflows. Lastly, warm your soul and enjoy it as an ochazuke by pouring warm dashi over it.

The Signature Temaki impresses with king crab, uni and ikura with the seaweed barely holding the weight of the generous filling. One mouthful is all it takes to unlock a wave of pure, satisfying seafood bliss.
