Pink Dot, the biggest annual event for the LGBTQ+ community in Singapore, will return to Hong Lim Park on 29 Jun (Sat) for its sixteenth edition. Pink Dot 16 will highlight how LGBTQ+ people here continue to face discrimination, despite the decriminalising of gay sex.

Videos featuring everyday Singaporeans

Pink Dot SG will be releasing 3 videos by filmmaker Sally Lee. These feature average Singaporeans meeting for the first time to discuss various aspects of LGBTQ+ life here.

In one of the videos, 4 pairs of strangers discuss their experiences growing up in Singapore, where they either felt unsafe or did not belong.

The other videos touch on families and relationships, and fears and dreams for the future.
