Heads up! Poh Cheu Kitchen is holding a Black Friday sale only on 29 Nov from 12am to 11.59pm. The brand is offering 10% off all their online products, available on Lazada, Shopee and their online store.

You’ve probably heard of Poh Cheu Soon Kueh and Ang Ku Kueh. Their only physical stall at Bukit Merah has been serving freshly handmade traditional kuehs since 1991. As the name suggests, they’re most famous for their delicious ang ku kuehs and soon kuehs, which are available both in person and online.

That’s not all that’s new from Poh Cheu Kitchen. Recently, they announced the launch of their new Frozen Ang Ku Kueh (U.P.: S$18 for a packet of 9). These frozen kuehs are packaged so they can be stored in the freezer for up to 1 month and steamed at your convenience.

The Frozen Ang Ku Kuehs come in the 5 most popular flavours, Peanut, Green Bean, Salted Bean, Black Sesame and Yam. Poh Cheu was recently certified as Healthier Choice by HPB as these treats are lower in sugar and fat, and higher in dietary fibre.

Their regular items will be on sale as well, such as the famous Ang Ku Kuehs (U.P.: S$15 for box of 10). Colourful, deliciously chewy, coming in fillings of 13 different flavours. These include the classic Peanut and Green Bean, as well as modern variations including Green Tea, Pineapple, Coffee and Corn.

Their traditional Soon Kueh (U.P.: S$7 for 5 pcs), a savoury bestseller chock full of turnip, is not to be missed. Another hot-selling product worth buying would be the Hakka Abacus (U.P.: S$3). It’s a dish of stir-fried disc-shaped dumplings, bouncy with a strong umami punch from the mushrooms and dried shrimp.

Poh Cheu is sure to please; it has received quite a number of notable food awards, including our very own Top 300 Hawker nomination. So get your mouses ready this Friday, to catch the deal as kueh-kly as you can!
