Don Don Donki has opened yet another store, this time next to their existing outlet at Jem. Sen Sen Sushi is the supermarket’s first foray into operating a conveyor belt sushi restaurant, quite the departure from the small sushi booth at their Jurong Point outlet.

Conveyor belt sushi restaurants are not a common find in the West (yet), so another option beyond Genki Sushi and Sushi Express brings much needed variety to sashimi and sushi lovers alike. Opened on 28 Jul 2023, the strikingly warm lighting and fresh wooden interior perfectly embody Japanese omotenashi. Once you’ve made your orders, expect it to come zipping right to your table via their miniature high-speed rail.

From 28 Jul to 31 Aug 2023, the restaurant will be offering a slew of deals. The Special Train Promo (S$8.90) comprises 4 dishes – California Maki, Sushi Ebi, Scallop Nigiri and Salmon Sashimi (U.P. S$14.60), promising a properly diverse seafood selection at a fraction of the typical cost. Their Yebisu beer (S$11) is on a 1-for-1 offer, but for those looking to drink heavy, the Draft Sake is also offered at 90ml (S$10, U.P. S$15.80) and 150ml (S$16, U.P S$26.30).

Patrons who visit on 30 Jul 2023 at 3pm will get to elevate their dining experience as they watch the masterful carving of a tuna live by the expert chefs – bringing the authentic Japanese fish market experience to lucky onlookers in the conveyor belt sushi restaurant.

Donki App members also enjoy double bonus dMile points till 31 Aug 2023 with a minimum expenditure of S$50 at the restaurant.

The conveyor belt sushi restaurant is open daily from 11am – 10pm.
