It has been eight months since Shake Shack first opened its doors in Singapore at Jewel. Since then, the crowd has definitely died down. However with the brand’s popularity and fan-base, we all know that it’s only a matter of time that a second outlet will surface.

Our instincts were right, as the popular American burger-joint has announced the opening of their second outlet in the first quarter of 2020.

For those of you who are craving for a ShackBurger or Shack-cago, the good news is that there is no need to travel all the way to Changi for your burger fix! Shake Shack’s second outlet will be conveniently located at 89 Neil Road, where the former Eng Aun Tong factory (a factory which used to produce the internationally-renowned Tiger Balm) was situated.

This time around, Shake Shack will be bringing the (art) of Shake Shack to the Central Business District, focusing on art and design to complement the culturally rich neighbourhood of Tanjong Pagar.

Look out for the hoarding artwork at the second outlet, designed by our local contemporary artist—Sam Lo (SKL0)—which brings together Shake Shack’s icons and traditional Peranakan patterns to create a one-of-a-kind design that is uniquely Singapore.

For fans who can’t wait for the second outlet to open its doors, head on to this design-driven Shack, snap a picture with this insta-worthy hoarding design and post it on Instagram with the hashtag #shackARTintown. The best snap will get to win a collection of store-exclusive swag. So, start snapping away!

We have yet to hear word about the new outlet’s menu, but do expect the brand’s iconic burgers, flat-top dogs and beverages to still be on sale at the new outlet.

It will still be a while until the new outlet opens. In the meantime, let’s take some time to appreciate the gorgeous artwork at the storefront and I do hope that this beautiful design extends to the shop’s interior as well!

Dates & Time: Shake Shack’s second outlet at Neil Road will open first quarter of 2020. Do check out Shake Shack’s Facebook and Instagram pages for more updates
