If you, like me, consider yourself to be well-versed in the culinary world, you’d be thrilled to find out The Fullerton’s inaugural World’s Best Chefs will launch in May 2022 featuring the one and only Chef Francis Mallmann— Argentinian celebrity chef and grill master.

Chef Mallmann will be on our shores for seven open-fire dinners at The Clifford Pier, The Fullerton Bay Hotel Singapore, to showcase his mind-blowing creations as the first illustrious name in The Fullerton’s World’s Best Chefs series.

For the unbeknownst, the Argentinian celebrity chef-restaurateur and author was featured on the Netflix original series, Chef’s Table, which focuses on his life journeys and captivating cooking techniques. He specialises in various Patagonian methods of barbecuing food and is known to pay respect to everything he cooks.
“That’s very important for a chef because romance must prevail in cooking— it’s really about loving, caring and respecting the produce”, shared Chef Mallmann.

His classic techniques are also greatly influenced by Michelin-starred French restaurants, where he built his career before returning home to South America. Diners will get to meet the celebrated culinary star as he cooks up a storm over a specially constructed dome at the alfresco area of The Clifford Pier.

The Fullerton’s in-house culinary team will also receive the opportunity to work closely alongside these Masterchefs through this series of guest chef collaborations. Oh, what I’d do to be in their shoes!

The Six-course Dinner (S$628++ per pax) will be held over seven days from 22 to 26 May 2022 and 29 & 30 May 2022, from 6pm. The menu will showcase the likes of the rich and buttery Polanco Caviar, the only caviar in the world that is produced in the Southern Hemisphere, sustainably farmed King Salmon from the Marlborough Sounds, Juku Aged Wagyu Ribeye Beef imported from Yamaguchi, Japan, and more!
Online reservations can be made here. I don’t know about you but I’m off to make a dinner reservation now before they sell out! Besides, it’s not every day I get to try Chef Mallmann’s signature cocktail, The Clerico, along with his delectable creations.
