The Hainan Story’s new Jewel Changi Airport outlet has exclusive Singaporean and Hainanese menu

The Hainan Story will be opening its third outlet in Jewel Changi Airport in the first week of July 2022.

The new outlet, named The Hainan Story Chapter 2, offers both Singaporean and Hainanese specialities, and even introduces new brands and outlet exclusives.

The Hainan Story Chapter 2 will feature existing brands under The Hainan Story, and will also introduce two new brands: 218 Hainanese Lor Mee and Ah Mai Kum Hainanese Chicken Rice Porridge.

Dishes served at 218 Hainanese Lor Mee include Authentic Jiaji White Braised Duck Hainanese Lor Mee (S$16.80), Ultimate Black Pork Cutlet Hainanese Lor Mee (S$14.80) and Grilled Saba Hainanese Lor Mee (S$14.80).

In Uncle Robert Western & BBQ, look forward to their new pot pies, in flavours like Signature Hainanese Curry Chicken Pot Pie (S$13.80), Cheesy Chicken Pot Pie (S$13.80) and Traditional Oxtail Pot Pie (S$17.80).

Lovers of Western cuisine can also dig into the outlet exclusive Chapter 2 English Oxtail Stew (S$25.80), Chapter 2 1980’s Hainanese Chicken Cutlet Coat with Potato Chips Crumbs (S$18.80) and Chapter 2 Grilled Asian Spices Chicken Chop (S$17.80).

Bread and pastry lovers can rejoice too, for The Hainan Story Bakery at the new outlet will introduce new baked products, including Cream Horns with flavours like Custard (S$3.20), Pandan Coconut (S$4.80), Teh Tarik (S$4.80) and Kopi Gao (S$4.80).

If you’re looking for a sweet treat, why not try the new selection of Asian-Inspired Chocolate Pralines (S$19.90 for 12 pieces)? Available in flavours like Mandarin Orange, Milo Dino, Teh Tarik, Black Sesame and Osmanthus, these unique desserts would make for the perfect gift.

With such a huge variety of dishes and treats to cater to all sorts of different tastebuds, The Hainan Story Chapter 2 seems like a great place to bring your friends and family to for a meal.
