Remember back in the day when families used to flock the ever-popular Satay Club—a hawker centre known for their satay that closed in 2005 and got taken over by Satay by the Bay? Well, now you can relive your childhood at all-new The Satay Club, to open on 5 January 2022 at The Quayside at Robertson Quay.

The establishment will be helmed by the people behind the popular bar chain, Harry’s, who’ve decided to open a new place specially dedicated to offering the bar’s grilled skewers and more.

As the name would have it, satay will be on the menu. Customers can look forward to four types of meat to indulge in, Mutton (S$14 for six sticksS$22 for 12 sticks)Pork (S$13 for six sticksS$20 for 12 sticks)Beef (S$13 for six sticksS$20 for 12 sticks), and Chicken (S$12 for six sticksS$18 for 12 sticks).

Although they may be on the pricier side, we all know Harry’s delivers when it comes to their food. Each satay order will also come with a side of ketupat, cucumbers, onions, chillies, peanut sauce, and pineapple purée.

There will also be rice options available on the menu like the Nasi Goreng Istimewa (S$22) that will come loaded with an array of popular Harry’s sides.

If that’s not tummy-filling enough, the new outlet will also offer local-style desserts and cocktails to satisfy your sweet tooth. I’m anxiously counting down to when they finally open their doors to have a go at their Milo-tini (S$18) and Chendol Gao (S$17) cocktails!
