This one is for the fried rice fanatics out there; popular Malaysian comedian, Uncle Roger, also known as Nigel Ng, has included Singapore as part of his comedy tour.

The comedian has garnered a formidable 4.56 million subscribers on YouTube, and is well-known for his ‘haiyaa‘ catchphrase, along with criticising the way people cook fried rice. His views and subscriber count skyrocketed after Uncle Roger’s review of an egg fried rice video went viral in 2020.

He will be coming to the Capitol Theatre on 15 June 2022 to perform LIVE as part of his tour. If you’ve been following his YouTube channel for a while, why not take it up a notch and catch him live? Tickets to see Uncle Roger in real life are priced at S$128, S$108, and S$98. They will go on sale on 26 November 2021 from 10am onwards.

He was nominated for the Best Newcomer Award at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival in 2019. He’s also been featured in Comedy Central’s Stand Up Central and Roast Battle, BBC Two’s Mock The Week, and ITV’s Jonathan Ross Comedy Club. He is also the host of comedy podcast, HAIYAA with Nigel Ng.
