With the Year of the Ox just around the corner, it’s about time we start to see a display of Chinese New Year goodies and theme apparels popping up along the streets. If the witty t-shirt from Cerealbox Tees failed to capture your heart, Uniqlo SG might just do the job with their new UTme! collaborations alongside local brands, LiHo Tea and Beauty in The Pot.

Exclusively available at Uniqlo’s Global Flagship Store in Orchard Central, the t-shirts from both series are filled with adorable illustrations specially designed by hand lettering artist, Ejtee. Apparels aside, these collaborations are also tied in with special promotions that are bound to satisfy your tastebuds at the same time.

Starting off the range of UTme! collaboration is the Uniqlo X LiHo Tea: Tealicious (S$29.90 per T-shirt) collection—4 tees that will allow you to advocate the love you have for your favourite bubble tea brand.

From now till 28 January 2021, this range features four of LiHo Tea’s signature beverage series, Avocado, Da Hong Pao, Say Cheese, and Strawberry.

As an avocado lover, the ‘Avo Good Day’ shirt naturally attracted my attention. Just look at how cute the LiHo lion mascot is sitting with its legs folded with half an avocado on each of its hand!

The Da Hong Pao ‘Confet Tea’ shirt is another favourite of mine with the LiHo lion decked out in a pair of sunglass looking all cool and suave with tea leaves floating around it. Rather cool, I must confess.

How can we miss out on our chance to get our hands on free cups of bubble teas with the corresponding promotions? Here are two exciting giveaways all you bubble tea lovers won’t want to miss!

From 29 January 2021 to 28 February 2021, look forward to Uniqlo X Beauty in The Pot: Kawaii (S$29.90 per T-shirt). Since the Lunar New Year is mostly about reunion and Beauty in The Pot is all about a good hearty steamboat meal, it’s no wonder this line T-shirts choose to feature ingredients commonly used in hotpots.

Since the Ebiko Wasabi Prawn Paste was a dish specially curated for this collaboration, it sure deserves a T-shirt of its own. As this spicy wasabi prawn paste is shaped like a mountain, it is naturally designed to look like Japan’s most famous mountain—‘fujisan’.

Otherwise, opt for the ‘onsen’ T-shirt, my favourite out of the entire range. I might not be able to travel to the hot springs in Japan, but that’s doesn’t stop Mr Tofu from expressing my love for this activity. Just look at how relaxed he is!
