Ya Sia Braised Duck‘s second outlet at Tampines shifted to Hougang on 9 Jun 2023. Along with a new and improved menu, many are sure to anticipate what this braised duck stall has to offer!

Ya Sia Braised Duck is definitely not the typical duck stall, dishing out comedic relief along with tender duck meat. You can’t miss their signage, which features a rubber duck decked out in a superhero outfit. Fun fact, their name 鸭侠 literally means ‘duck hero’ in Chinese! Very punny indeed.

The reason they moved from their Tampines outlet is an increase in rental prices at the coffeeshop where they were located. Thanks to the move, Ya Sia Braised Duck has shifted to having one outlet in northeastern Singapore. Easties, fear not as they will maintain their original outlet in Eunos.

The more exciting news is the revamped menu! While the Tampines outlet offered just 6 dishes, the new one in Hougang will offer customers 9. New mains like Braised Pig Trotter Set (S$6.50) will definitely leave folks salivating for more. Their new sides of Braised Pig Intestine and Braised Peanut promise to be tasty accompaniments to your meal.

Oddly enough, Ya Sia’s braised duck is currently only available online and exclusively for takeaway. Fingers crossed that they will release it for dine-in  customers soon.

For those who want to try out the dish that made Ya Sia Braised Duck famous, their Kway Chap (S$5.50) is a must-order item. This large platter of braised pork belly, pork intestine, tau kwa, pigskin and tau pok is quite a steal. Their smooth and light kway is rather enticing with fatty pork, too.

Looks like the folks in Hougang have a new treat nearby to check out! For cheap yet satisfying food, who could refuse?
