I live to eat, write, and fall in love with the world. When I'm not hustling, you'll find me curled up watching Netflix.

The weather is turning cooler these days. What better time is there than now to turn up the heat, fire up the grill and gather up for a hearty meal of barbecue (BBQ) and grilled delights.

Unlike most Western homes with a barbecue grill stationed conveniently at the backyard, some of our humble HDB abodes may come with a balcony, but hosting a BBQ party at the comfort of your home will be sure to get you an earful of complaints from our loving neighbours.

Better be safe than sorry. HSBC’s Eazy Gourmet has rounded up 5 of the best BBQ restaurants in town with some of the most tender, juicy and saliva-inducing meats to satisfy your steak craving. HSBC credit cardholders can enjoy up to 18% off à la carte bill.

Wait no more, stock up on these protein-rich dishes that will satisfy your inner beast and keep you warm and fuzzy.

1.  Camp Kilo Charcoal Club

Hmm..Fancy some tantalizing meats that are barbecued on the spot? This little gem hidden beneath an unassuming industrial building has all that hipster vibes going strong.

Situated just beside the Kallang River, your night will be spent at a camp-like setting, lit with strings of fairy lights, gusty graffiti walls, and whiffs of sweet, smoky aromas from the kitchen. A getaway from the hustle and bustle of the city, transporting you into another oasis, quite unlike other eating joints in Singapore.

Get your hands on the Whole Roasted Hog ($12 per 100g), which is only served from 6pm on Fridays and Saturdays, and wipe up all that juice from the meat with a side of Corn bread with Honey Butter ($5).

Make your way down in the early evening to avoid disappointment, as dishes are subjected to availability. Once it’s sold out, it’ll be off the menu for the night.
