Night owls and hungry insomniacs, you are in for a treat. In addition to your list of 24-hour eateries consisting mostly of prata shops, dim sum eateries, and Teochew porridge establishments, you can now add Japanese ramen to your list!
Loved by locals for their affordable yet mouth-watering selection of ramen, Takagi Ramen has announced the introduction of their fifth outlet which will be located in Woods Square situated alongside Causeway pPint. Set to open this September 2020, this will be Takagi Ramen’s first 24-hour outlet since the establishment first opened in 2015.
Together with Takagi Ramen’s announcement of their new outlet, the Japanese eatery also “surprised” fans with a collaboration many saw coming their way—a partnership with FrothTea Bubble Tea to put one of our favourite beverages permanently into their menu. Yes, and that also means a range of bubble teas available 24 hours, for your consumption any time you have a sudden craving.
As renovation of their new outlet can only start when restrictions are lifted, the opening date is tentative at the moment. With slightly more than a two-month wait till this 24-hour ramen eatery officially opens, Tagaki Ramen fans can still get your ramen fixes via GrabFood, foodpanda, Deliveroo, or directly from their website here.
Exclusive to the FrothTea Bubble Tea orders made online, Takagi Ramen will be pledging S$1 for every cup of bubble tea to food charity, Free Food For All, that provides free halal meals to the needy in Singapore. Through this initiative, Takagi Ramen aims to raise at least S$10,00 and give out 5,000 meals during this period.
What better opportunity is there to indulge in cups of bubble teas or treat your friends and family to a cup of bubble tea if not for good cause? As we await for restrictions to be lifted and life to slowly return to normal, let us all do some good to ensure we are all heading along the same path to recovery!
