On days when supermarkets and grocery stores have snaking queues of patrons waiting to get their temperatures taken and IDs scanned, convenience stores are usually the next best alternative for us to get our daily necessities.

Be it a quick ready-to-eat meal, a mid-day snack, or a bottle of drink to beat the scorching heat, I found myself visiting my nearby 7-Eleven Singapore more often than usual. Like me, if you are a regular of this 24 hours convenient store or maybe a fan of Sanrio characters, 7-Eleven has some good news for you. Yes, you guess it right. They are bringing our favourite Sanrio Characters right into the neighbourhoods of sunny Singapore!

From 10 June to 4 August 2020, 7-Eleven will be collaborating with Sanrio to release an exclusive range of Sanrio’s Secret Garden drinking glasses. Available in a total of six designs, these highly-collectible glasses are embossed with motifs of adorable characters such as Hello Kitty Rose, Lala Baby’s Breath, Kiki Sunflower, Cinnamoroll Dandelion, My Melody Tulip, and Hello Kitty Peach Blossom! As icing on the cake, each glass comes complete with its own unique and matching stirrer adorned with a cute figurine of each character.

Hello Kitty, with her unmistakable red bow, needs no introduction to her legion of adoring fans. Out of the two Hello Kitty glasses in the series, my heart was immediately captured by Hello Kitty Rose—a pastel and slightly more feminine version of Sanrio’s biggest superstar.

Donning a light pink ribbon with a violet one-piece dress, the Hello Kitty Rose glass showcased the feline amongst a wreath of pink and purple roses, giving her fans a cheeky wink. Overall, the glass exuded a girlish and romantic aesthetic, perfect for all the dreamers out there.

A white dog with long ears, blue eyes, pink cheeks, and a plump and curly tail that resembles a cinnamon roll, Cinnamoroll is a character that is impossible to dislike. 7-Eleven’s Cinnamoroll Dandelion glass sees Cinnamoroll sitting innocently amongst floating white dandelions whilst the stirrer features Cinnamoroll holding a pink flower huge enough to cover the entire lower half of his body!

Can’t get enough of these lovable characters? Well, here’s how you can bring them home!

Spend S$4 at any 7-Eleven store to get an original sticker stamp, or purchase any STAR product to get two stamps. Collect eight stamps and add only S$6.90 to redeem a Sanrio glass and stirrer. Alternatively, you can also collect 16 stamps and the glass together with the stirrer will be yours free of charge!
