You may have heard of Two Bake Boys back in 2020 when home based-bakeries were on the rise. Now, their immense success has propelled them to open their very first brick-and-mortar cafe on 4 March 2022.

Located at Rest Bugis Hotel, the quaint cafe is aesthetically pleasing and well-lit, and can seat up to 20 diners.

The brand was founded by 35-year-old baker Kitty and her husband, who were both initially in the aviation industry. They were hit hard by the pandemic in 2020 and had to take significant pay cuts.

Undeterred by the setback, the couple decided to venture down an alternative pathway. This led them to open their very own home-based bakery, Two Bake Boys, which was named after her two sons.

Their crepe cakes proved to be an immediate hit among netizens and the rest was history. With a drive-through kiosk along Lavender Street and this new cafe, customers will now be able to enjoy their cakes readily.

Two Bake Boy’s Thai Tea Crepe Cake (S$7.40 for one slice, S$48 for a whole cake) stands out as one of their bestsellers due to the strong cha yen taste it carries. Each layer is handmade intricately, with ingredients imported directly from Thailand.

Alternatively, you can also opt for the Thai Green Tea flavour for that added jasmine flavour at the same price.

If you are not a fan of tea-flavoured cakes, fret not. There are still 16 other flavours you can choose from, which includes: Chocolate (S$7.40 for one slice, S$48 for a whole cake), Lychee Rose (S$9 for one slice, $58 for a whole cake), Matcha (S$8 for one slice, S$56 for a whole cake) and Cookies & Cream (S$8 for one slice, S$56 for a whole cake).

Feel free to mix and match the different flavours in their DIY Box (from S$29).

In addition to that, drinks such as Thai Milk Tea (S$4) and Homemade Roselle (S$4) will serve as handy thirst quenchers.

To round off your meal, desserts such as Salted Caramel Thai Tea Waffle (S$12.90) and various Gelato flavours (from S$3.90) are also available.

If you are unable to head down, you can visit Two Bake Boy’s takeaway outlet at CT Hub 2. You can also opt for delivery online by heading to their social media accounts and website.
