New in town: Uníce Cafe — Muslim-owned cafe with Instagram-worthy pink decor, Korean and Western dishes

A new Instagrammable cafe has arrived in Yishun. Uníce Cafe, located on the second floor of the Junction 9 shopping mall, opened its doors in August 2022, serving Korean, Western and Asian dishes, as well as an assortment of bubble tea.

You will instantly spot the Muslim-owned Uníce Cafe when you look out for its pretty pink interior and golden store sign.

Dishes that you can look forward to include their range of Korean-style Bibimbap, which are priced at S$6.90 for members and S$7.50 for non-members, like the Chicken Katsu Bibimbap, Yakitori Chicken Bibimbap and Roasted Chicken Wing Bibimbap.

Uníce Cafe also serves Japanese bento bowls, priced at S$5.70 for members and S$6.30 for non-members. Select from variations such as Black Pepper Chicken Bento, Crispy Chicken Karaage Bento, Chicken Katsu Bento and Yakitori Chicken Bento.

Why not opt for their Western dishes, like the Crispy Chicken Cutlet with White Sauce (S$8.50 for members, S$9.10 for non-members), Sweet BBQ Chicken Chop (S$7.90 for members, S$8.50 for non-members) or Grilled Chicken Toast (S$8.70 for members, S$9.30 for non-members)?

Uníce Cafe even has snacks and desserts, including their Dark Forest Egglet Waffle with Ice Cream (S$6.90), Spicy Chicken Cutlet (S$5.40 for members, S$5.90 for non-members), Mango Sago Dessert with Taro Balls (S$4.60), Chendol Dessert with Taro Balls (S$3.50) and Popping Grass Jelly with Taro Balls (S$3.50).

You can’t leave without trying Uníce Cafe’s selection of bubble tea. Choose from a variety of drinks such as the Taro Taro Milk Tea (S$3.90 for medium, S$5.20 for large), Brown Sugar Bubble Milk Tea (S$3.90 for medium, S$5 for large), Uji Matcha Bubble Milk (S$3.20 for medium, S$4.30 for large), Brown Sugar Chendol Milk (S$4.30 for medium, S$5.70 for large) and Mango Yakult Green Tea (S$3.70 for medium, S$5.10 for large).
