Exciting news for residents of Johor and Singapore! Dolly Dim Sum is delighted to share that they will be opening their first JB branch on 1 Nov 2023. This beloved Malaysian restaurant chain is renowned for its delectable selection of both classic and modern dim sum dishes, cherished by people all over the country. The official announcement, posted on Dolly Dim Sum’s Instagram, revealed that the new outlet will be located in AEON Tebrau City.
While their establishments have predominantly been concentrated in the Klang Valley and 1 in Kuantan, Dolly Dim Sum has made the bold move to expand southward into Johor, introducing their exceptional dishes to the region.
Before the restaurant has its grand opening, let me introduce you to some of their most popular dishes. To begin, we have the Har Gao Dumplings, celebrated for their see-through, pleated casings, traditionally filled with a blend of finely-minced shrimp, bamboo shoots, and flavourful seasonings.
It is Often served with a light dipping sauce, like a combination of soy sauce, rice vinegar, and chilli paste. It’s appreciated for its delicate and slightly sweet flavour, as well as its elegant appearance, making it a favourite among dim sum enthusiasts.
