We’re already seeing a lot of rain as we reach the end of the year, but it still feels way too humid to function. Thankfully, the (literal) coolest sports facility, Trifecta will open with a 4-week-long festival at Somerset this Oct 28 to Nov 19.

They’re able to boast that they’re Asia’s first snow, surf and skate attraction – making the ‘Tri’ in their name pretty punny. Thanks to them, all of a sudden, two sports that aren’t naturally possible in Singapore’s climate can thrive.

Trifecta has built individual arenas to make it possible, which is a mammoth task in itself. You’ll find a ski simulator in the snow arena alongside a freestyle park. For surfing, there is a custom-made pool where you can customise the waves, so getting your feet wet even as a beginner will be easy. The skate arena has announced that the skate bowl is open for community use. It’s even located next to Somerset’s existing park.

Prices vary during the launch festival across their exclusive classes, demos and workshops. Events like the arena showcases welcome all visitors whereas some classes require RSVPs or bookings.

There’s even a weekender music festival on 18 & 19 Nov. Tickets for 2 days general admission (S$190), single day general admission (S$98 or S$188 with additional ride pass) or a VIP pass with viewing access (S$148) can be booked on Trifecta’s website. Outside of the launch festival, classes (S$40-S$120) will be offered as well.

Spectators can enter freely. Drop by even if you’re a little curious; you just may end up with a new hobby.
