Chick-fil-A, the third largest quick-service restaurant in the United States, will open its first store in Singapore in late 2025, marking its expansion into Asia. As part of its expansion strategy, the corporation intends to invest USD75 million in Singapore over the next decade.

This follows a successful pop-up event in June 2024, when over 1,000 residents tried Chick-fil-A‘s famous Chicken Sandwich and raised S$30,000 for the Community Chest charity.

Chief International Officer of Chick-fil-A, cited Singapore’s strategic location and inhabitants’ love of food as important reasons for selecting the city as the company’s first Asian outlet. The organisation is excited to introduce its renowned hospitality and high-quality food to the region.

The chain has a unique franchise concept in which local Owner-Operators manage individual stores, collaborate with their teams, and engage with the community.

Franchisees in Singapore can join in Chick-fil-A’s Shared Table™ food donation program, which provides surplus food to people in need. Since 2012, the initiative has prepared more than 30 million meals in the United States and Canada.

Hugh Park, Head of Asia Pacific Operations, stressed Chick-fil-A’s dedication to community engagement and employment creation. While the location and specific date has yet to be announced, the company is actively seeking individuals interested in becoming Singapore’s first independent franchise Owner-Operators, giving them the opportunity to own and operate their own business while making a positive impact.

The fast food chain intends to retain its high standards of hospitality and quality as it develops globally, with Singapore serving as the gateway to its larger goals for the area. My only question would be: is it going to be closed on Sundays like in the States?
